Where did this data develop
from?
A NOTE from Dr. Ouellette. Since the early 1970s I have been teaching people
that certain common foods are bad for them, and a lack of exercise is detrimental to healing. (These are two of Dr.
Ouellette’s Five Pillars of Optimal Health Secrets.) I began screening people with intake forms for dietary issues
and exercise issues. Some of those forms are now a part of the Wellness RISK Management
Measurement process. The FoodPainConnection data
(PainReliefDiet) is one part of the Nutrition Pillar
that requires specialized help. It requires additional forms to measure properly. The Nutrition Pillar in the
measurement program covers the standard government model nutritional protocols. I developed an entire module
separate from the Nutrition Pillar to tease out lifestyle behaviours that would affect people in pain. In the 1990s
I began reviewing older research data, as well as current research data, and compiling information pertinent to
food and pain. Then, to help my patient base in 2002, I published my first book, Dr. Ouellette's Pain
Relief Diet Manual, and in 2006 I published my second book on, Cheating on Dr.
Ouellette's Pain Relief Diet. Although these two books do not contain the same information, the
second book was intended to help people cheat more effectively with less damage to their system. Recognizing that
people will cheat, is a key clinical insight.
These concepts came from science data that was quite well established, even in those days and from best
professional opinion. More and more newer data is showing them to be true and timely. The topics of Spinal Health,
Rest & Relaxation and Attitude & Perspective were added to round out the Self-Help concepts with regard to
the types of Wellness people could do for themselves at home. The issue of changes required to conform to the
science is a difficult one due to human nature and so, in the 2020s, I coined a new term and created a NEW
Wellness Model to help people with those difficult human nature issues. Wellness RISK Management was born.
The FoodPainConnection is part of the Wellness RISK Management model for
people in pain.

Why is there a food pain connection?
Intro
Dr. Ouellette trained in
Canada and graduated as a chiropractor in 1973. Continuing studies in multidimensional fields Dr. Ouellette
obtained a Master of Science Degree in Biology 1987 (with emphasis on
Nutrition) and a three years sports injury course in 1989. Dr. Ouellette is a Certified
Member of the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada). Developing Wellness Risk Management as
a new non-health care related industry became a passion. Biology is
biology, health-care is disease-care and Wellness is multidimensional. It is the same for all race
types, and belief ideology structural types. Learning all the
secrets is the key. Step one is "Where are all my Wellness needs?" Step two is "How do I meet all my needs
every week?"

Pain is often caused by inflammation. This inflammation is a body defence mechanism. Sometimes that mechanism
gets out of balance. In fact, most of the time it gets out of balance. Some factors that can put inflammation out
of balance are poor blood flow, continued stress, poor diet, lack of exercise, failure to rest properly and poor
attitude among many others. There are things that you can do with each of these factors to help yourself.
Some Governments in some countries can put together a good DISEASE care team for you.
Putting together a good health care team is something they are not so good at. That's

Can food really work on pain? I mean, REALLY work?
Answer
Yes, yes, and yes. But, food does not act like drugs. Food takes longer, but is certainly safer,
way safer. And, food can be mighty powerful when the secrets are unleashed. A secret bonus here now: FOOD IMPACTS
